Test / Sandbox project - to be used for development
In your dashboard add an option to create a test / sandbox version of the project. To be used for test & development - for example my staging environment would send calls to that project.

This workaround doesn't really work, because we need to test the journeys we build. Having to do everything first on sandbox then manually copy and paste everything has a high risk of breakage.

It would be great to have a sandbox (testing) account. The key issue is that it costs a lot to create an account that connects to Salesforce, so a testing/sandbox account would be great.

Hi everyone, there isn't currently an official way to do this, so if you have a need for a sandbox account please create another free trial account (see https://support.autopilothq.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002130026-How-can-I-create-and-manage-multiple-accounts-) and then contact our support team who can assist you. We'll be exploring creating an official process in the future.
Please note that the provisioning of a sandbox account is entirely subject to our discretion.

How do people test the integration with Autopilot HQ without this feature?

It would be very helpful to have any of following:
1) a developer-friendly test mode like Stripe OR
2) ability to clone a primary account to a sandbox account OR
3) an API that allows us to deploy an autopilot account from a declarative definitionAdditionally, developer-friendly documentation on best practices about testing Autopilot Journeys in a CI workflow would be very helpful.
