Manage emails without being in a journey. I just want a link to manage the emails.
I don't want to have to open a journey, and find a send email, and click manage existing to see the list of emails.
I just want to be able to open up a link and get straight at the emails.
This is now complete: https://autopilotdev.tumblr.com/post/185754166468/introducing-quick-actions.
Also, as Mike mentioned below, we’ll have more to share soon on the asset management front. Stay tuned for a separate announcement :)

Hi everyone. I'm Mike the CEO of Autopilot. We hear you on this and are listening. I realize it's been a long time coming but assure you we are working on an Asset Manager you will love as part of a a fairly major update to the product. Please bear with us - it will be worth the wait I promise!

Just recently joined and became a paying subscriber. But only just! This email management is crazy. I have temporary journeys in place simply for editing emails.
I see on the Roadmap https://www.autopilothq.com/roadmap that an Email Asset manager is on the way, so hopefully this is what we are are all asking for. Currently extremely clunky and hard to manage.

Why is this taking so long to implement? Hasn’t even been marked as started or anything. Obviously, this feature is very important and yet others that are less important are being prioritized.

Need this implemented. Very clunky trying to manage emails by having to enter via a journey.

Waste so much time trying to manage my emails this way. I see you added Annotate which is cool but this feature would make me more productive

I've just started using Autopilot and this was a feature I immediately noticed as absent. After a quick web search I found this thread and noticed that it dates back to April 2016!! What gives Autopilot?? This is something people have been asking for for over two years! As a new user that really doesn't give me much confidence in you as a company...

We definitely need a way to manage emails and change them without having to go through the journey. I'm wasting SO much time today, going through the journey to get to the email I want to test/edit/adjust. It's incredibly annoying to have to do it this way.

I literally spend hours making one change across all the emails in a journey. Can't get this update soon enough.

add my name to the list of people that would like to edit emails without entering a journey. Just crete a link on the side menu that says "Emails" ane then populate a list. Have it sort by date, catagory, etc...

This is pretty important for us, especially for creating and managing templates. For non-templates, I concur with Christen in that some indication should be made for journeys using a given email. Perhaps giving the option to clone an email if it's already in use or something.

This feature would be AMAZING. We need to be able to see at a glance what journey(s) any given email is on.

We need this feature badly. It's tough to have to go into the Send Email box every time we want to change an email template. C'mon Autopilot Geniuses, make it happen!! Thank you!!

almost a deal-breaker not having this...

Yup, same here, the left-hand sidebar should include an "email" icon to enter email manager. E.g. designer can work on creating emails from there and the marketer can grab them later on.
Also, the "Publish" button scares me off - I feel like I will publish it to my subscribers after clicking it. Could be this replace by "Save"?
Another thing - is there any way to export HTML from that emails?
Cheers,

Real talk it's crazy, especially with the new e-mail builder - I can't imagine it would require a ton of work to just port the pre-existing email management & builder into it's own tab without being in a journey. Common guys you can do this!

I'm going to have to add my vote for this here - the current way of managing emails is very clunky

Yes please just let us link to this management screen! It's so janky having to open up a bubble on a journey every time. You may also want to include a section that says "This message is used by Journey Onboarding" etc...
