Allow using event variables in transactional emails (e.g. line items on an invoice)
Today, the transactional email capabilities in Autopilot are limited. Yes, you can now have a contact run the same journey twice, by flagging it as transactional. However, this is only useful for generic transactional emails like a password reset.
If you want to include more custom content in transactional emails, Autopilot is not a feasible solution, because it can only pull template variables from the user's contact record.
Sending a receipt to a customer thus requires setting a boat load of custom variables on a contact record, which seems like a bad practice and difficult to maintain.
It would be great if event variables could be passed in through API triggers or segment event triggers.
