set date as dd/mm/yyyy
Hi
currently the date structure is mm/dd/yyyy
yet we are working with the format dd/mm/yyyywhich your system does not support

Would love this! Based in NZ, where dd-mm-yyyy is default.

Personally, I think it should be YYYY-MM-DD as that is more universal, and consistent.

Yes this really needs to change to dd/mm/yyyyy

This is vitally important!

All - Ròisín at Autopilot came up with this solution for us, which effectively fixes the problem for us for merge fields in emails / sms:
--DateTimeField=!%B DD, YYYY--
Where "DateTimeField" is replaced by the name of the date field you need to reformat. The result would produce "September 04, 2019" for a US date format of 09/04/19.
Hope you all find this as helpful as I did!

Pretty disappointing that it works this way, since the dates can be imported in AUS format, show in AUS format on profiles, but then are reformatted in email merge fields. Seems silly that we can't display the data in the same format it appears on profiles.

Agreed. There should be the option of selecting which date format you require.
We're in Australia and our format is dd/mm/yyyy.
As it is now, we have to do manual imports so we have to export to .csv and change the date format (each time). Painful! -

Is there any progress or update on this feature request - we are in UK and date field is provided from another system in UK format - which means this date field does not work when imported into AP....

This would be awesome for UK people :)

I need this so bad, I'm messing up smart segments because I keep defaulting to NZ format of DD/MM/YYYY

I agree, in Australia we use the dd/mm/yyyy format. It would be great if this was an option.
