    Personally, I think it should be YYYY-MM-DD as that is more universal, and consistent.

    To expand part of this. We used to run reports across all EDMs (journeys etc) to look for trends or issues.

    The primary point was domain, but any field provides the same insight, which helped identify deliverability or spam filter issues with different email providers. There were very clear differences in how each email provider treated the activities we were running. Not having to setup seperate journeys, emails within a journey etc to force that separation of data would make the reporting MUCH more insightful and how whole process much more efficient.
