Stop opening folders when searched or adding list to folder
When trying to keep Autopilot organized, I keep all my smart segments and lists into folders. I've already seen a lot of great recommendations to improve the organization of this, but there's something that happens now that should be turned off.
When you add a list to a folder, it automatically opens that folder and creates a long drop down of the lists in the folder. Additionally, when you search for a list, it will automatically open all folders that your keyword exists in. This is frustrating because you have to continually close folders.

Ability to set the From Address and Reply To email addresses separately
Have the ability to configure both a From Address and Reply To email address separately within the email editor.
This will help when users wish to have a generic email listed as the From Address while also having a specific sales person's email address set with the Reply To email address.

Set an Insights goal based on a list
Currently, we are only able to set a goal based on Smart Segments. It would be great to be able to set a goal to grow an existing list. This would come in handy for webinar or event registration goals, for example.

Add an option to change Headsup position to the left
I'd like to be able to change the position of the Headsup message to the left of the page. This will allow me to use my live chat tool and Headsup at the same time.

Add ability to connect to Salesforce Sandbox orgs
To do testing, especially when evaluating Autopilot and rolling it out, it would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to connect to Salesforce sandbox orgs. Otherwise, it's not always practical or possible to do real testing!

Option to disable Headsup messages on mobile devices.
For smaller screens the Headsup message is pretty intrusive. Having an option to disable the Headsup message on mobile devices only, while still showing on larger screens would be fantastic.

Allow searching for a contact through phone number
At the moment, I can only search for a contact through email. This is inconvenient when I send text messages and receive replies. When I receive a reply, I only see the phone number, so I have no idea who is contacting me. This will be a very helpful feature and make the text message journey much easier!
4 votesHi everyone, good news! You can now search by phone number: http://autopilotdev.tumblr.com/post/148121036138/update-july-28-2016

Allow full URLs in personalization variables
Currently you can add URLs as a part of a personalization variable, e.g:
www.autopilothq.com/promotion/--mailing state--
However, you can't put a full URL in a personalization variable.
It would be great to be able to do this.

Pause Headsup rather than having to delete it.
There is currently no way to pause Headsup. If you want to stop Headsup for any reason (e.g. get approval from the marketing department) you can't. You have to delete it.

Allow Lead Intelligence to be disabled
Although the Lead Intelligence feature (auto populating data from Full Contact) may be useful in some cases, we're finding that it's polluting our data with unwanted and sometimes incorrect associations with companies. We wouild like to be able to disable this feature.

Add to Facebook/Google Custom Audience
The ability to add or remove contacts from a Facebook custom audience within a journey would be an amazing extension to Autopilot's multichannel approach to marketing automation.
Not saying that it would be easy to do, but it would be game changing.

Optimize & minify core.js script for faster loading
Right now the tracking code you provide is not minified. According to google speedinsight we are loading unnecessary 115kb of data. While it may not seem to be much, various unoptimized codes stack up, resulting in our site loading slower than it should be.
Could you take care of this?
Best,

Easier and more accurate testing of personalisation variables
Testing a personalisation variable is currently a very slow process, and it can be nearly impossible to test all of the variations within a personalisation variable using the current process.
My solution is that when you're in the email editor, you can select which Contact you would like to send the test on behalf of. This would test the personalisation variables for that specific real life contact, but would only send the test to my email address. This means you could quickly test a range of contacts and see if the data is being synced in properly and in real…

Email update from Segment
I think it's more a Segment-side functionality, but the customer care suggested me to post it here as a reminder:
in Segment it's suggested to use a database's UUID as primary identifier, since the UUID never changes
so, I expected that changing the Contact's email via Segment would have resulted in an Autopilot update of the same record: instead, Autopilot adds a brand new record
when the Segment API receives an
Identify(UUID, Email = differentFromSegmentStoredEmail)
call, it should call Autopilot API
/contact {Email: segmentStoredEmail, _NewEmail: differentFromSegmentStoredEmail}
before syncing others data, without having the end user bother about it

Allow custom fields/variables to be used for notification recipients
Unless you use with Salesforce, notification recipients cannot be set dynamically. We have 60 salesmen/women and I'd like them to be notified when one of their customers triggers a notification.

Date operation triggers
Hi, guys.
I was hoping that you might consider adding date-based triggers (e.g. send email on, or x time before or after custom field date).
Thanks for considering!
Michael

Allow the "From" name and email to come from a custom field.
In our scenario, each contact may have a different owner and we'd like the emails to come from the owner. We are dynamically creating an email signature from the owner using custom variables, but can not get the From name/email to match.
3 votesHi Kirk, this is actually already possible. Check out https://autopilothq.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204539219-Customize-From-Name-and-From-Email-. Just let me know if it’s not what you meant. Cheers, Peter.
